Alan-1, Inc., renowned for its innovative arcade game cabinets, announces an exciting partnership with Atari to develop new arcade game cabinets for Atari's Recharged games. These cabinets will be tailored for Family Fun Centers, Barcades, and other location-based entertainment venues, enhancing the arcade experience with nostalgic yet fresh gameplay.
Luke Anderson, Chief Game Designer at Alan-1, emphasises the blend of nostalgia and innovation in their upcoming releases. The collaboration aims to captivate players of all ages with fun, innovative game mechanics while delivering the excitement of competitive arcade gaming.
Atari's President, Ethan Zoubek, is enthusiastic about bringing classic titles to a broader audience through this partnership. Over the next three years, the collaboration will see the release of at least ten full-sized Recharged arcade cabinets powered by Alan-1's Video Arcade System™ (VAS).
The VAS incorporates modern interactive mechanical effects inspired by virtual pinball technology, enhancing players' in-game experiences with features like pinball knockers and shaker motors. A ticket redemption system and high-score tournament league system, Major League eSports™ (MLeS), will keep players engaged and encourage repeat visits to arcade venues.
Each new Atari/Alan-1 video game cabinet will uphold the legacy of the Atari brand while appealing to both older and younger generations. Both companies are committed to delivering high-quality, authentic products that bring joy to arcade enthusiasts nationwide. Stay tuned for the debut of the first cabinet in Q3 of 2024 as Atari and Alan-1 redefine the arcade gaming experience.
