A new beacon emerges on the UK gaming horizon as Sunset Sugar Studios, spearheaded by games publishing veteran Darryl Still, alongside seasoned colleagues Matt DC and James Deputy, debuts with a groundbreaking partnership. The fledgling studio has sealed its inaugural deal with none other than the multi-award-winning independent studio Aardman.
Sunset Sugar Studios will make its mark by initially amplifying the wildly popular Pixel Puzzles franchise, masterminded by Matt DC. The franchise boasts a staggering four million players globally. While already a sensation on Steam, the franchise is poised to expand its footprint onto PlayStation and Xbox formats in the foreseeable future.
Pioneering collaborations with iconic brands are at the core of Sunset Sugar Studios' mission, and the studio's trajectory is already set ablaze with a prestigious licensing pact inked with Aardman. Introducing Pixel Puzzles Aardman, slated for release on Steam today (March 26th), the game promises a delightful romp through the beloved universes of Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and more. Featuring 26 free puzzles ranging from 96 to 425 pieces, it's a treat for old and new fans.
