LEGO has officially unveiled LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith (11377), a huge new 18+ collector's set that brings the legendary White City of Gondor to brick-built life. Inspired by the iconic location from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, the highly anticipated Middle-earth release combines microscale architecture with detailed minifigure interiors across more than 8,000 pieces.

Launching on June 4, 2026, the set is shaping up to be one of LEGO's most ambitious fantasy models to date and another major addition to the growing LEGO Icons Lord of the Rings lineup.

Price and Availability

LEGO has confirmed the set will retail for £579.99 in the UK.

A Massive Display Model for Middle-earth Fans

With 8,278 pieces, Minas Tirith towers over most LEGO display sets. The completed model measures over 59 cm high, 62 cm wide and 37 cm deep, capturing the layered city walls and towering citadel of Gondor in impressive detail.

Unlike traditional microscale models, LEGO has opted for a hybrid-scale approach here. The exterior recreates the sprawling White City in miniature form. At the same time, the interior spaces feature minifigure-scale rooms and scenes, adding to the display and storytelling potential.

The official description highlights the set as a premium centrepiece designed specifically for adult collectors and longtime fans of Middle-earth.

"Recreate the grandeur of Gondor with the LEGO® Icons The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith™ (11377) – a striking centrepiece for adults and devoted fans looking to expand their Middle-earth™ merchandise collection."

Fans can expect detailed interiors, including the citadel's grand throne room, hidden references, and multiple display angles throughout the towering build.

Minifigures Include Gandalf, Aragorn and More

The set includes 10 minifigures and a Shadowfax horse figure, focusing heavily on key Gondor characters from the trilogy's final chapters.

Included characters are:

• Gandalf the White
• Faramir
• Denethor
• Peregrin Took
• Aragorn
• Arwen
• 4 Soldiers of Gondor
• Shadowfax horse figure

The inclusion of Aragorn as King Elessar and Arwen strongly suggests the set draws inspiration from the coronation and restoration scenes following the Battle of the Pelennor Fields.

Another Landmark LEGO Lord of the Rings Release

LEGO's return to Middle-earth has quickly become one of the company's most successful collector-focused themes. Following the enormous success of Rivendell and the dark tower of Barad-dûr, Minas Tirith feels like the natural next step for fans hoping to recreate the major locations of Gondor.

Its blend of large-scale architecture, detailed interiors and iconic characters makes it one of the most ambitious fantasy LEGO sets ever produced. For collectors of both LEGO Icons and The Lord of the Rings, Minas Tirith looks set to become a standout display piece in 2026.
