There were many rumours and speculations about the upcoming Call of Duty (CoD) this year, however there wasn’t any official confirmations by Activision, Infinity Ward or any of the developers at all. There’s no trailer yet, though the official logo of MW2 has been teased by Call of Duty, with more teasers (including trailers) expected to be revealed very soon. Interestingly, most Modern Warfare 2 fans thought the logo would be “MWII” but Call of Duty has chosen to go with the iconic “MIIW” logo, reminiscing fans the good old days on PlayStation 2 (PS2) and Xbox 360.

The official MWII logo has been [revealed](https://twitter.com/InfinityWard/status/1519723165475389444) by Call of Duty and Infinity Ward over on their social media accounts, officially confirming the news CoD fans have been waiting for all over the world. This comes right after 2022 NFL Draft prospects being shown the brand-new game days before the official logo tease, where the prospects vouched how great the game looked over on their own social media accounts.
[Ahmad Sauce](https://twitter.com/iamSauceGardner) (@iamSauceGardner) [mentioned](https://twitter.com/iamSauceGardner/status/1519095022632636417) over on their Twitter account “It was so realistic, it’s insane, and on top of that, it’s a new Warzone 2 coming out with it” on a quote tweet reply to [CharlieIntel](https://twitter.com/charlieINTEL) (@charlieINTEL). MW2 wasn’t previously teased or announced anyhow however, Activision had already confirmed to players that an all-new free-to-play Warzone experience is being worked on, and would release soon, most likely alongside Modern Warfare 2.
