With the weather bringing some sunshine to our lives over the weekend and coming week ahead, [BT Shop](https://tidd.ly/3mirjHl) has informed the public of their own sunshine for BT Broadband customers, with an upcoming [PS5 Disc Edition](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=3043&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fshop.bt.com%2Fproducts%2Fsony-ps5-disc-console---extra-controller---horizon-forbidden-west-9709893-bundle8-GNKH.html) console restock. This article will keep you in the know of every detail that’s crucial for the upcoming BT drop.
**When is the drop?**
The [BT Shop](https://tidd.ly/3mirjHl) restock for [PS5 Disc Edition](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=3043&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fshop.bt.com%2Fproducts%2Fsony-ps5-disc-console---extra-controller---horizon-forbidden-west-9709893-bundle8-GNKH.html) consoles are expected to take place on Monday, 21st of March, in the morning, between 09:00 – 10:30 (GMT). This date and time we’ve mentioned are not confirmed by BT themselves however, we can comfortably assume this will be the drop date and time, due to BT Shop’s previous PS5 drops being on a Monday morning 90% of the time since launch. We don’t believe they’ll change their drop pattern unless they really want to deter PS5 hunters, which is pointless at this stage of the year, as scalping PS5s decreases due to the number of gamers who now have a PS5 console.

**How can I purchase a PS5 via BT Shop?**
First things first, you’d need to be a BT Broadband customer to take part in this drop. The only way non-BT Broadband customers can shop via the PS5 drop is if they get sent a code by friends or family, as the drop will be locked to those who have received a unique code, sent by BT Shop themselves. The only way to get hold of one of these codes is to [register interest](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=3043&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fshop.bt.com%2Fforms%2F-bt-playstation-5) on BT Shop’s website for the PS5. If you are chosen, BT Shop will send you a code once the drop has begun, whether it’s by email, or directly on your BT account.
**How can I check if I’ve been sent a code?**
Supposedly you got chosen to purchase a PS5 via BT as a BT Broadband customer, the steps to find the code is very simple. Firstly, you’d need to log into your BT account [here](https://home.bt.com/login/loginform). Then, you need to scroll down until you see a section called ‘Your Offers’ which will show a dedicated section titled ‘Order your PlayStation 5’. If you can see this, then you have been chosen for the PS5 drop. All you must do from this point onward is, click ‘Reveal your code’ on that dedicated section, and you’ll be given a code. Keep this code safe if you’re attempting to purchase a PS5 console via BT. Alternatively, you can donate it to a friend or family member if you aren’t going to use the code.

**Which PS5 Edition will BT sell?**
Just like every BT Shop PS5 drop that has taken place, this drop is expected to be a PlayStation 5 Disc Edition restock only, with both standalone and bundles available to choose from (assuming it’s in stock). BT Shop has not sold PS5 Digital Edition consoles before, so that’s one thing to note and be aware of.
