Sony has just announced next month’s PlayStation Plus lineup following the leak that already revealed them earlier today. The PlayStation Plus lineup for March is as follows:

The big PlayStation 5 game for next month would be GhostRunner, a first-person cyberpunk-esque action game that received rave reviews when it released late 2020. PlayStation are only including the PS5 version of this game and not PS4. Complimenting this is Studio Wildcard’s survival multiplayer game Ark: Survival Evolved. PS4 players can also enjoy Team Sonic Racing. As a bonus game (which is unusual for PlayStation) is Sucker Punch’s online multiplayer spin-off from Ghost of Tsushima titled Legends.
All games will be available to download from Tuesday, March 1st for no added cost. As a reminder, players also have till this Monday to redeem February’s games until they are removed for free. Those games are EA Sports UFC 4, Planet Coaster, and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep.

With Grand Theft Auto V: Expanded and Enhanced finally releasing next month, Sony will also be releasing its online mode for free to PlayStation Plus customers. Subscribers will be able to enjoy GTA: Online from March 15th for a scheduled period of 3 months. This does not include the full single-player experience but given the magnitude of updates Rockstar has released for its online counterpart over the years, players should have more than enough content to enjoy.
As we approach March, rumours of PlayStation’s next big showcase event have been ramping up. Insider @Shpeshal_Nick had [this](https://twitter.com/Shpeshal_Nick/status/1496372116287291392) to say on Twitter:
“Happy to add to what’s already out there. Yes, they’ve got a show in March. This is supposed to be “the good one””
Nick seems to imply that next month’s rumoured event won’t be a typical State of Play but rather one of PlayStation’s larger events such as last year’s PlayStation Showcase. This would mean Sony are ready to show something big such as brand new footage of God of War: Ragnarok or even another tease at the long-awaited sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man.

This showcase could finally see the official reveal of Sony’s Gamepass competitor, Project Spartacus. In another Stock Checker [article](https://stock-checker.com/articles/playstation-5-takes-best-selling-hardware-platform-in-the-us-for-january-2022-342715.html) we spoke at length about what Sony needs to do in order to bolster the impact of their current subscription practices. If the rumours are true, March could be one of the final months we receive a traditional PS Plus lineup. Perhaps next month’s rumoured event will finally put all the speculation to rest.
