The last week of March has been very quiet for PlayStation 5 drops; however, we’d like to believe that a few retailers should be on your watchlist for the upcoming 7-8 days. Stock Checker did mention in a [tweet](https://twitter.com/PS5StockAlertUK/status/1455450159677050880) via [@PS5StockAlertUK](https://twitter.com/PS5StockAlertUK) during Q4 2021, about how the boost in production, and how Sony switched to shipping consoles via airfreight to the UK specifically for Christmas last year. Our tweet mentioned how this intense boost of restocks would mean that a very dry and patchy season would be awaiting us during Q1 2022 for PS5 restocks before drops could get back to a normal level again, and that’s exactly what’s happened. Though, we do believe the patchy season should be over, with a few large drops beginning this April. Here’s what we predict:
**ShopTo**
One of our predictions is for the retailer, [ShopTo](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2943&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.shopto.net%2F). The online gaming retailer hasn’t restocked [PS5 consoles](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2943&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.shopto.net%2Fen%2Fsearch%2F%3Finput_search%3DPlayStation%25205%2520Console) in almost a month, and typically, a month is how long it takes for a retailer to restock PlayStation 5 consoles tracking back to recent drop patterns by most major retailers. The last time ShopTo has dropped PS5 consoles was on the 6th of March (Sunday). This drop could take place on Sunday, 3rd of April, either between 10 am – 1 pm, or in the evening, between 6 pm – 8 pm, based on their previous drops. ShopTo has both the [PS5 Disc Edition](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2943&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.shopto.net%2Fen%2Fps5hw01-playstation-5-console-p191472%2F) and the [PS5 Digital](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2943&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.shopto.net%2Fen%2Fps5hw02-playstation-5-digital-console-p195341%2F) Edition listed up on their website currently, though we’d strongly like to believe they wouldn’t have the PS5 Digital Edition on sale if the restock takes place this Sunday. It’ll most likely be PS5 Disc Edition [bundles](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2943&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.shopto.net%2Fen%2Fsearch%2F%3Finput_search%3DPlayStation%25205%2520Console) in stock, though not to worry, as ShopTo does not offer silly bundles at a high price. It’s usually a bundle with a game or two, priced appropriately rather than charging full price for the games in the bundle, unlike other retailers who offer bundles.

**Very**
The retail giant, [Very](https://redirect.viglink.com/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.very.co.uk%2F&key=79458fa6e412683ee49a32a8238e8524&prodOvrd=WRA&opt=true) is expected to drop PS5 consoles next week Tuesday (5th of April), in the morning around 9 am – 10:30 am. The reason we’re predicting this is that Very usually drops once every 4 weeks precisely, and the last time they’ve dropped was on the 8th of March, which will make it exactly 4 weeks ago this upcoming Tuesday. Very is a well-known retailer with plenty of presence, the likes of the PS5 drop including Digital Editions are possible, though quite unlikely. However, if the PS5 drop does include Digital Edition consoles, we could expect to see standalone and bundles of both the [Disc Edition](https://bit.ly/3FjyEgQ) and [Digital Editions](https://bit.ly/3spILNh) of the PS5. As usual, standalone consoles would become out of stock very rapidly, though the bundles should be easy to purchase, assuming you’re on time for their queue system. Very’s bundles usually consist of an accessory or two, alongside a game, which is charged at a full price per added item to the PS5 console.
**AO**
Another retailer who hasn’t dropped in almost 4 weeks is [AO](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=19526&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fao.com%2F). Due to how spontaneous AO can be with PS5 restocks, it’s quite hard to nail down a day to predict when this PS5 drop could take place however, they should be on your watchlist for the upcoming week ahead. AO usually drops [PS5 consoles](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=19526&awinaffid=837293&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fao.com%2Fl%2Fconsoles%2F1%2F107-290-291%2F) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays based on their previous drops, around 8 am – 11 am. Assuming they do drop, it’ll be PS5 bundles again, as they haven’t dropped PS5 consoles on their own for a very long time. AO has also not dropped the PS5 Digital Edition in a long time too, which makes it a higher possibility of them dropping it each restock, though, we wouldn’t have our hopes up due to how rare PS5 Digital Edition seems to drop at most retailers providing Sony’s new-gen console.

**GAME**
The company known as the biggest gaming retailer in the UK, [GAME](https://fave.co/3ofMFoo), is also due to a drop soon, possibly next week. They’ve updated their [bundles page](https://fave.co/3Eo6eBj) with a release date of 14th April on both [PS5 Disc Edition](https://fave.co/313TRfn) and [PS5 Digital Edition](https://fave.co/3CC6nRr) consoles. The release date isn’t when GAME will drop the PS5 consoles, but just a date they promise customers as the last day they’ll dispatch your order assuming you successfully purchased one. Drops by GAME usually take place 1 or 2 weeks before the release date mentioned on the bundles page, therefore, we could expect a drop to take place next week between Tuesday and Friday (5th – 8th April), in the morning around 9 am – 11:30 am.
**PlayStation Direct**
The last on our prediction list would be [PS Direct](https://redirect.viglink.com/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fdirect.playstation.com%2Fen-gb%2F&key=79458fa6e412683ee49a32a8238e8524&prodOvrd=WRA&opt=true), Sony’s own store that’ll sell you the PS5 console directly. For PS5 drops by PS Direct, you’d need to [register interest](https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/ps5/register-to-buy/) beforehand, which Sony would then email a bunch of people whose registered interest, to let them know about an upcoming PS5 drop. PS Direct drops can be any day of the week, based on their previous drops which means, if you’ve registered interest, lookout for an email by PlayStation themselves next week. This drop is usually locked to PS members only. Also, if you’ve registered interest though you think you’re too late in registering interest for their upcoming PS5 drop, not to worry, as PS Direct usually allows the public to purchase a PS5 console after their “private” drop for those who got selected via the interest register. More good news is that PS Direct only sells standalone PS5 [Disc Edition](https://bit.ly/3mnJn2k) and [Digital Editions](https://bit.ly/3piysJi), though as with every retailer, the possibility of PS5 Digital Edition dropping is quite low, but not impossible.
**Retailers Not Mentioned**

We’ll push out an updated article soon once these 3 retailers we haven’t predicted are due for a drop, so, stay tuned.
