**Possible Argos Drop**
Stock Checker has been tipped of an upcoming restock by [Argos](https://bit.ly/3fWC5ir), the choice of many customers after the PlayStation 5 console. It is expected that Argos receive small shipments of both the [PlayStation 5 Disc Edition Console](https://bit.ly/3ywQQkn) and the [PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Console](https://bit.ly/3GG1nfS) at some point early next week (week commencing 07/03). If this shipment arrives at the expected timeframe, we could expect a possible online and in-store restock of both editions of the PS5 console nationwide, at some point next week, most likely towards the end of the week (9th-11th March). If delays do occur (which is possible), the drop is then expected to take place the following week (15th-18th March).
From launch, till Q3 of 2021, Argos has dropped PS5 consoles after midnight, usually, around 1-2am, which caused a lot of complaints by gamers who just want to get their hands on a PS5 console. Potentially, this could've been the reason when Argos began dropping PS5 stock online and in-store (nationally) around 8am, in the morning, just before, or when people were heading to work/education. Unfortunately, it seems that Argos have gone back to their midnight drops, but this time, it's even worse. The last few drops have taken place between 3-6am, leading to a very minimal stock count (quantity) by the time the majority of people woke up in the morning.
Therefore, predicting an Argos drop's exact day and time has become harder than ever, so, the best bet is to be aware and cautious at all times, for those who are desperate to get a PlayStation 5 console, particularly from Argos. Though, do keep in mind, that the upcoming possible restock is expected to be a low quantity, around 1-3K consoles only, for the whole nation (UK). Big stores are expected to have better availability, whilst smaller stores may not even have any spare to sell due to the limited supply of the console by Sony.
Once the drop does take place, if you're planning to secure a PS5 console physically in-store, you are advised to pop into your local Argos store in the morning to see if they have any availability. If you're trying to secure one online, always keep in mind that Argos drops are regional, which means, each and every individual store will drop at a different time throughout the day. For example, a store in London could drop at 8:35am, but a store in Liverpool could drop at 9:24am. In other words, there is no guarantee that your local store will have the stock. If the add to basket option is available, this simply means a few stores or more in the country have the product in stock. Your best option is to wait it out, till your store shows stock availability.
