Smyths Toys Superstores is an Irish multinational chain provider of children's toys and entertainment products with over 200 shops throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria which are owned by the Smyth family. Group revenues for 2019 are on course to be close to €1.4bn. We can confirm that the retailer will be restocking PlayStation 5 Disc Edition consoles, both online and in-store.
The Smyths Toys PS5 Disc Edition ([https://bit.ly/3yLE81p](https://bit.ly/3yLE81p)) restock is planned to take place tomorrow (Thursday 17th Feb 2022) around 9am GMT. Customers may pre-order, both online and in-store once the stock drop is live. This will be a Disc Edition console restock only, and no Digital Editions available to pre-order, as far as Stock Checker knows. Here are all the details necessary to be successful in the expected Smyths Toys drop:

For those who will attempt to pre-order a PS5 console online, we recommend having an account on the Smyths Toys website, ready and logged in before the drop. Do not refresh Smyths Toys’ website frequently at any time, whether it’s before, during, or after the drop, as Smyths Toys’ is known to have a well-advanced anti-bot security system on their backend. This means that, if customers refresh the PS5 page too fast (a few times a minute), there’s a high chance the website will automatically ban you from accessing the site, whether it’s a temporary or permanent ban. Usually, it's a temporary ban however, to avoid this during a crucial drop day, it is best you do not refresh their site frequently.

You’ll be expected to pay an upfront payment of £20 whilst pre-ordering in store, with the remaining £429.99 of the console fee once the PS5 is ready to collect. Customers who successfully pre-order are expected to be called in to collect their pre-order within 1-2 weeks of ordering.
