It's been a while since the last time we've been together (virtually) to watch what PlayStation offers. Well, State of Play is back, with approximately 30 minutes of trailers and announcements, exciting! The official blog post does not provide much detail on what the showcase will be about; however, they've given us a small insight on some topics.

The event will occur at 23:00 (BST) on Thursday, June 2. You may watch the showcase live on Twitch or YouTube, two platforms famous for video and streaming content. According to PlayStation's official [blog post](https://blog.playstation.com/2022/05/27/state-of-play-next-thursday-brings-new-game-reveals-sneak-peeks-and-updates/) announcement, this upcoming showcase will present 'exciting' reveals from third-party partners. Including sneak peeks at several games in development for PlayStation VR2!
Sony is yet to announce further detail about their upcoming PlayStation VR 2, which CEO Jim Ryan [teased](https://stock-checker.com/articles/first-look-at-the-playstation-vr2-462604.html) in Q1 of this year. Since then, Sony silently uploaded the PlayStation VR 2 headset's [official page](https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/ps-vr2/) on their website, showcasing the performance of the VR headset. This page also included many images to give fans an idea of what the PSVR 2 would look like. You guessed it; it's matching colors and aesthetics with the PS5! There is no shock there, though it is fantastic to see, as it'd look great in any home for those who own a PS5 console.

Hopefully, Sony will update us very soon about the price and release date of the PSVR 2, which you'll be informed of right away here on our news articles page.
