ShopTo is a well-known online retailer in the UK, offering products such as video games, consoles, gaming accessories, and more. The last time they’ve restocked the PlayStation 5 console was before Christmas and has not been seen since. This is understandable as January has been a bad month for PS5 restocks in the UK, due to the ongoing chip shortage and pandemic, combined with the high demand even after 1 year of the console’s release.
We have been keeping track of all UK retailers daily, and we have spotted that ShopTo has changed the product description for the PlayStation 5 Disc Edition console ([https://fave.co/3J8liGv](https://fave.co/3J8liGv)) on their website. Part of the description used to say something along the lines of “We will aim to ship the consoles by Christmas once we have completed all of our checks.” which was not updated since. However, we have spotted this morning (12th Feb) that ShopTo has now updated this description to “We will aim to ship the consoles within 5 working days once we have completed all of our checks.” which clearly indicates they’re ready to drop the in-demand console.

No one can guarantee when ShopTo will decide to drop the PS5 consoles however, they have dropped plenty of times during the weekend in the past, both on Saturdays and Sundays. Their most recent few drops have taken place on Sundays, which is why we’re leaning more towards a Sunday drop however, this is not a guarantee, since ShopTo may decide to change things up and drop on a Saturday to catch people off-guard. Unfortunately, there is not a concrete prediction on what time the drop could be, as ShopTo has dropped in many different timeslots however, 10am-12pm in the mornings and 6pm-8pm in the evenings have been the two most common timeframes for ShopTo PS5 drops.
Although we cannot guarantee whether ShopTo will offer the PS5 Digital Edition console ([https://fave.co/3J8liGv](https://fave.co/3J8liGv)) yet, we certainly do know that they will be offering the PS5 Disc Edition console, possibly even as a standalone, but much more likely as bundles due to high demand. Being experienced from previous drops, you should know that ShopTo’s website does end up crashing within the first few minutes of the drop, due to their servers struggling to handle the incoming traffic for the console.

If you are an early visitor to ShopTo’s website once our stock alert is sent out, you may end up experiencing their website crash within the first few minutes. If this happens, you should simply refresh and try again until you have been put into a queue by the site. Once you are in this queue, you should simply wait it out, and you will eventually be let through to the PS5 product page. The rest is easy (assuming they are in stock), as all you must do is simply add the console to your basket, and checkout.
