With 24GB of GDDR6X memory, the 3090 is one of the most powerful graphics cards offered by the GeForce range. With up to 8K gaming and intense 3D rendering/encoding now possible, the RTX 3090 has a lot to offer, though this does come at a hefty cost. NVIDIA calls this the BFGPU of the RTX 30 Series family.
The 3090 tops both the NVIDIA Titan RTX and the RTX 2080 Ti, last-gens workstation and gaming graphics cards in multiple online comparisons. 8K gaming is now possible at 60fps on many triple-A titles. This BFGPU can also handle heavy loads for those who care more about graphically intense 3D video rendering and encoding tasks.
If you don't care about price and want the best consumer graphics card on the market, the RTX 3090 is the choice for you at a high cost of **£1,399/$1,499**. However, most gamers would prefer to pick alternative GPUs like AMD's Radeon RX 6900 XT or the RTX 3080/80 Ti as it's cheaper than the 3090 and offers comfortable 4K gameplay.

Lots of power, lots of VRAM, and expensive, clearly aimed toward content creators. If you're not a content creator, you should consider going for the RTX 3090 if you still want the best of the best for gaming. The 3090 also helps you spend less on a GPU if you're still after the top-notch performance in the GPU industry.
Entering the consumer market with an MSRP of £1,879/$1,999, the RTX 3090 Ti is no graphics card to mock. With ample raw power and VRAM, anything you throw at it should get demolished, whether it's 4K/8K gaming, rendering, or encoding. Speaking of 8K, you shouldn't expect to go above 60fps even with the RTX 3090 Ti, especially the RTX 3090, which NVIDIA claimed was capable of 8K gaming.
We recommend gamers to stick with the RTX 3090, 3080 Ti, or the most-wanted 3080 if 8K and encoding/rendering isn't at the core of your priority list. You'd then have a decent amount of cash to spend on other peripherals or games to fulfill your ultimate gaming desire. Though if you're a content creator, or you've got the luxury to splash two grand at a graphics card, the RTX 3090 Ti awaits your ownership.
