**The Main Story**
Although the [Xbox Series X](https://stock-checker.com/products/xbox-series-x.html) is the more superior console when it’s compared against the [PS5](https://stock-checker.com/products/playstation-5.html) on raw performance, March marks the 3rd month in a row where the Series X hasn’t sold out in the UK across multiple retailers. Though to some, this may not come as a surprise for one reason, which is the PC industry. PC gamers can share the same benefits the Xbox Series X can offer, but at an even more advanced level, depending on the computer components purchased. All Xbox exclusive games, alongside the popular Xbox GamePass, can be enjoyed at beautiful resolutions and framerates on gaming PCs, with powerful graphics cards like the [RTX 3080](https://stock-checker.com/products/nvidia-rtx-30-series.html) and the [RX 6800 XT](https://stock-checker.com/products/amd-rx-6000-series.html) offering native 4K gaming, alongside high refresh rates above 144hz.

**Series X or PC?**
This question comes down to one thing, and one thing only. Price. The [Xbox Series X](https://stock-checker.com/products/xbox-series-x.html) can offer Microsoft’s exclusives, with up to 4K 60FPS in a jampacked minimalist console, valuing at just £449.99 ($499.99 in the US, and €499.99 in the EU). If your budget allows you to spend a few thousand on a gaming PC, then you’re better off making plans for a computing setup, which has a higher number of advantages compared to the Series X. Although graphics cards are in high demand due to the ongoing chip shortage, they aren’t easy to get hold of, which is why Stock Checker is here. Join our [Discord](https://discord.gg/stockchecker) server if you’re after an [NVIDIA](https://stock-checker.com/products/nvidia-rtx-30-series.html) or [AMD](https://stock-checker.com/products/nvidia-rtx-30-series.html) graphics card. Now, assuming you’ve got your hands on one, and you’ve bought the rest of your components, you’re in for a treat. Building a PC may sound difficult to most, but it’s quite fun once watching the right people who make PC building tutorials on YouTube as full guides. The average gaming PC system ranges between £1000-£2500, depending on the specs of course. Stock Checker recommends going for a gaming PC if your budget allows you to. If not, the Series X is powerful enough to satisfy your enjoyment of those Microsoft exclusive games, such as Forza Horizon 5.

**Series X or PS5?**
We have indeed mentioned above that the [Xbox Series X](https://stock-checker.com/products/xbox-series-x.html) is more powerful than the [PS5](https://stock-checker.com/products/playstation-5.html) when it’s compared against each other in raw performance however, the difference is quite minimal, as they’re both a vastly upgrade from their previous generations. Both consoles can perform games with an output of 4K 60FPS, including options to enable hardware-accelerated ray tracing on supported games. The ultimate choice will come down to whether you already have an existing Xbox console or a gaming PC system. If you have an Xbox One or a gaming PC, Stock Checker would recommend getting the PS5, so that you can enjoy the exclusive worlds of both parties (Sony & Microsoft). However, if you have an Xbox 360, or no Xbox at all, and you haven’t got a gaming PC capable of playing today’s games, either the PS5 or Series X are both major upgrades for you to choose from. The ultimate choice will all be down to whether you prefer Sony’s exclusive games, or Microsoft’s. If you enjoy both, and can’t pick either side, you can grab the PS5, and the Xbox Series S, a more cost-friendly Xbox console, allowing you to play the latest new-generation games, at a reduced performance point compared to the Series X.
