In a time when it was rare for humans and Pokémon to live in close harmony, before Pokémon Trainers and the Pokémon League, the land of Sinnoh was called Hisui. In the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Nintendo Switch game, it’s your task to survey wild Pokémon and create the region’s first Pokédex.
**Much is different in this earlier age.** Pokémon Legends: Arceus fuses new action RPG elements with the core gameplay of classic Pokémon games. Join the Galaxy Team as a member of the Survey Corps, with Rowlet, Cyndaquil or Oshawott as your Pokémon partner.
**Seek out Pokémon**
Pokémon live freely in grassy fields, in forests or out on the water. There may be entire species that you’ll only find at a particular time of day or in certain kinds of weather. Depending on the species, wild Pokémon may react to you by attacking or running away. Observe them to learn their behaviour, then carefully sneak up, aim your Poké Ball and throw!
**New Battle Action**
Wild Pokémon become easier to catch after they’ve been weakened in battle by your ally Pokémon. In the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Nintendo Switch game, Pokémon’s stats determine how many actions each Pokémon gets to take. Unleash moves in 2 new ways: Agile Style and Strong Style.
